Casting His Net

This photograph is of the Cormorant Fisherman on the Li river in Yangshuo, China. These fisherman use trained cormorants as an aid in securing their daily catch. Unfortunately, this method is no longer widely practiced. This particular fisherman was hired to put on a display for the sake of keeping an old tradition alive.
