The argument for sustainable travel

Landed in Santiago, Chile on April 9, 2016. The pollution was extreme and the air heavy, with a foul smell seeping into the cabin of our jet as it taxied to the gate. Looking out the window, I could barely see two planes next to us. My eyes began to sting as I reached under the seat for my iPhone to capture this moment.
