Galapagos Short-eared Owl

In 2015 I traveled to the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador. There I met director Arturo Izurieta of the Charles Darwin Research Station. Hearing the Research Station's need to both connect with the local community and to raise funds for supporting research activities I volunteered to design an Exhibition Hall using an empty building onsite. Funding was secured and the Hall is now up and running. The Galapagos Owl is endemic... found nowhere else in the world. I am trying to do my part to promote sustainability and conservation with the hope of keeping rare species from going extinct.
