Flightless Endemic Comorant of the Galapagos Islands

The Flightless Comorant is a rare endemic bird found only in the Galapagos Islands. I took this photo while traveling in the Galapagos, and volunteering with the Charles Darwin Research Station to develop a new educational Exhibition Hall. My exhibit design raised donations for the construction of the exhibits. I traveled there to supervise the build process in Feb 2016 and also painted a mural. The Hall promotes sustainable environmental practices and conservation through educating locals and tourists.
