Two Parts of Life

This is a common situation of water logging during the monsoon season in the houses of the families living near the Teesta river,West Bengal ,India. Floods pose a particular threat to drinking water systems because floodwaters often carry contaminants that can make people sick. Water is so powerful that it can save life or wash away earth. During photo shoot I advised residents to kill disease-causing bacteria and parasites by bringing their drinking water to a rolling boil for one minute and cooling it to an appropriate temperature before use and tried to make the people understand to be informative. My suggestion may help them very little but even such a small contribution brought a peaceful smile on my face.
