Entrance to The Pak Ou Caves - Luang Prabang - Laos

This photo was taken at the The Pak Ou Caves in Luang Prabang, Laos, during a service trip I took this February to Southeast Asia. To reach the caves, tourists ride in the style of boat shown in the picture down the Mekong river. On the ride there we saw no high speed boats, or form of transportation that looked out of place. This helped to sustain tradition, despite the caves heavy tourism, leaving ones focus completely on the culture and history of the caves.
