A Swim in the Alps

Few places in the world are more beautiful than the Alps in spring. This photo taken on a hike on Nordkette mountain by Innsbruck captures fully the adrenaline that a swim on a mountain creek can create. The water was definitely frigid, but the thrill of swimming in such an extreme climate surrounded by the magnificent natural gardens of the Alps clearly demonstrates why the future of tourism is one with the future of our natural world.
