15th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest
When everything's yellow, you can't choose between honey and lemons
This photograph is a self-portrait.As a student of fine arts,I often use myself as a model for photographic studies that I later convert to paintings. This time around,I was inspired by works of Tony Viramontes and Jean paul Goude.I also have a fascination with plastic surgery and how it can be thrilling meditating on the subject from a surrealist point of view,at the same time examining issues of ones own identity.
