13th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest
Van Gogh at the Metropolitan Museum of Art

While admiring the amazing self portrait by the impressionist artist Vincent Van Gogh at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, I noticed a man staring at the painting from behind. He captured my attention as he resembled the man in the painting. I decided this photo had to be black and white to bring attention to the environment rather than the colors of the image.
