Umma in dismay at the younger generation
I met her near Valiyangadi, Malappuram. We chatted for a while. She wore the traditional attire for Muslim women in Kerala and could not understand why the younger generation of women were taking to burqas and hijabs. She thought they did it to please their husbands. Here she is standing next to an old graveyard.
