Two women lit by a fire

Women dressed up in traditional clothes take part in Busojaras celebrations in Mohacs, Hungary. Busojaras is a annual celebration taking place in Hungarian town of Mohacs at the end of the Carnival season. The celebration features people dressing up in sheepskin, wearing traditional masks and includes folk music, parades, dancing and concludes with burning of the coffin (the coffin represents winter). Despite beeing strongly embedded in Christian calendar it often involves pagan practices, symbols and attributes.
