Turkana people in dry Kenyan riverbed

While traveling through northern Kenya, I snapped this photo of a Turkana woman and child in a dry riverbed. The rivers rarely flow in that area. Wazungu (White people) are very conspicuous in Northern Kenya, so it's common for people to stop and watch or call out to passing travelers, which is shown here.
