The ragpicker

“People call me Masi (aunt), I don’t know any other name. I’m 70-80 years, I don’t know, I don’t know when I’ve started picking rags and selling to earn my daily food, don’t know I’m married or not, don’t know I have children or not. I only know it is my job to pick rags. Otherwise the buyer won’t give me money and I cannot have food." And she is very sick with the goitre. I found this elderly lady outside Koley market, near Sealdah Railway Station, Kolkata who doesn't think of tomorrow.
