15th Annual Photo Contest
The Padaung Lady

I saw the women at Bagan, Myanmar. Normally the ethnic minority group is live at SouthEast region of Myanmar. But I found her at Bagan, where thousand of pagoda and temple are standing still until now since 11 to 13 AD. They are wearing distinctive brass rings on their neck and some of them believe it to prevent tigers from biting them. Some of them said it will attract a better husband.
