The Mama in colour

As part of a team documenting the rise of female social entrepreneurs in Southern Africa, I captured one of the oldest members of a group of women in Kigoma who create and sell embroidery to make ends-meat. When I returned 9 months later and presented her with a copy of the photo, she said it was the first photo of herself that she has seen.
