The boy and the monkey

Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh, India (06/07/2016)- Ramraj, 10, found his best friend in a monkey. The monkey clings on to him because he thinks he is his mother. Ramraj lives on the banks of the Yamuna, with his siblings. He begs for a living, and whatever little food he gets, he shares with his friend. This wasn't the typical pet and owner relationship, this was more like family, which was fascinating. Photo by Aman Parhar ©
