The boy and the bike at Angkor Wat

Leaving Angkor Wat, my tour group and I had to walk a mile or so down dirt roads littered with tourists and local children following them with souvenirs for sale. It was hard for anyone to say no to these kids, who were clearly very poor and weren't clearly going to school later that day. One of the hardest parts of visiting places of immense poverty is that you can only do so much. Standing behind each child you had 1,000 riel, are 20 more who deserve it just as much.
