Sacred subject

Sacred subject: A caste of married Hindu women of India have a strong faith in Sun God. To have their wishes fulfilled, specially related to siblings, and family, in this event, they go through different hardship and pain to gain from Sun God. In this shot, following previous days fasting, ladies after holy dip in the river Ganges, observe the ritual with offerings for Chhat Maiya, a lady representative of Sun God. There lit up faces, mass prayer, sacrifice for happiness mesmerized me.
