Rural Berber

Bankura is a district of West Bengal in India. Some parts of the district are made up of forest land. The people living in close proximity to these forest areas are mainly the tribal. For these remote villagers a market is held once a week in a specific place. The villagers have to come to the market by cycle or on foot for their daily necessities. In this weekly market you can find food items, clothing, household products, a barber salon, tailor, cosmetics, ornaments—everything. Peoples from all professions come here both to offer and avail their services. I found a barber is shaving an elderly person while looking curiously to other people.
