Rolling the net

First the huge net gets spread all over the beach in order to be cleaned and sawed if necessary. Then the fishermen take it to the water, wash it thoroughly from the sand, pack it into smaller boats, which sail it to the bigger boats, awaiting in deeper seas. The red net popped greatly against the blue sky and the sand. This was shot in Malpe, Karnataka, on a beautiful morning. Part of "Indian Fish Tales" series.
