Rohingya Refugees

On November 10, 2017, at 2pm a rides was came and waiting to enter Bangladesh from Myanmar almost 60 to 70 Rohingyas arrived in Nayapara, Teknaf, Bangladesh. Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has stopped boat movement in Naf River. Rohingyas take new methods, now they are coming out by rides, which are made by bamboo and gallon. Rohingya told me, it took 3 to 4 days to create this bamboo rides. These Rohingyas reach the border in Myanmar 8 to 10 days from their village and then arrive in Bangladesh after waiting for one or two months at the border. Over 600,000 Rohingya (according to UNICEF, 340,000 of them children) have fled Myanmar to neighboring Bangladesh to escape killings, arson, sexual violence and other atrocities. Most of them walked three to six days, barefoot over mountains and across rivers. They arrived exhausted, sick and hungry. This is the world’s fastest growing refugee crisis.
