Reflections

My wife was recently diagnosed with cancer, and I captured this image of her following one of her doctors appointments. I asked her to walk out onto the wooden deck and to look out over the beautiful lake surrounded and covered by the beautiful colors. I was hoping to tell a story of her reflecting about life (while nature reflected back at her over the lake). I was very happy with the result of this photo in how she is looking out over the lake, reflecting upon the journey she has had up to this point, and the road ahead of her, and the hope we have even in the midst of this difficult season. Even when the road we are walking upon is difficult, our life can still have beautiful moments in them.
