Preparing the Family Dinner

Living off-grid in Alaska means residing in very close quarters much of the time. Entire families live in one or two rooms and share most everything. Although I have my own separate cabin (think tiny house), we still cook and eat dinner together in the main cabin. It seems in the hustle and bustle of today's society, there are fewer families who have the time or desire to focus on strong values and teaching children ways of the past.
