Potrait of a mine worker

I met this former mine worker during a visit to the ruins of a mine in Pozos, Mexico. He was one of the few surviving miners—most of his fellow miners and some family members had died of mercury poisoning, an occupational mining hazard. His life story is etched in the wrinkles of his face.
