Nowruz, the first day of Iranian solar year coinciding with Farvardin 1st, is one of the most ancient celebrations of Iranians survived from ancient times especially among Kurds. People from different parts of Iran still celebrate the event at the time of holding which is the beginning of Spring. Nowruz is the greatest celebration of Kurds (who have their own canlendar, language, music, clothing, dancing, culture, and customs, special to themselves) and they welcome it each year by holding a magnificent ceremony.
