Night Work

I took this image whilst exploring the back alleys of Euljiro, Seoul in May 2019. Euljiro is a fascinating part of Seoul as it houses a lot of small industrial retailers who work late into the evening. The grungy textures of the buildings combined with the ubiquitous neon lights of Seoul make this area such a special place to shoot. Like much of Seoul however, these older Central neighbourhoods are being swept away under a mountain of glass and steel which lack the character and magic of neighbourhoods like this.
