Native Dancer

This photograph celebrates Los Angeles' Native communities that in many ways have been forgotten and have been brutally mistreated. California has a especially dark history with its Native peoples which resulted in the slaughter of thousands of Natives at the approval of our government. We as Americans, need to educate ourselves and support our Native communities. This was once Native land.
