Water is the most vital and most wasted resource.
When I saw this scene , I had no doubt, the ball was the earth and the 2 men were trying to save the planet that was lacking clean water.
Surprising it let me get this close to it with a macro attachment on my D80.  One shot was all the little two inch frog would allow.
