“MOICHHARA” the traditional local name of “BULL RACING” refer to the bull racing in the southern district of West Bengal in India. In the beginning of the rainy season in Southern Bengal bull racing competitions are organized in different villages by the enthusiastic villagers for their entertainment and as a traditional village sport. With the modernization in agriculture, the need of bullocks gradually declining, now the villagers, who love this sport, raise and keep bullocks only for their entertainment purpose.
