Lost In A Sea Of Hope
My eyes do not see. My mouth can not speak. I am invisible to those who pass me by.Their eyes do not see me.Their mouths can not speak to me.Their ears do not hear my cries.I am lost in a sea of hope where my dreams have died.My daughter had a friend who lived next door to us.Her home life was extremely neglectful. Many chose to ignore it as if they didn't care. I cared and choose not to ignore it.She became a second daughter to me. A wise lady said it takes a village to raise a child. I agree.
