Look into the future

Here is a photo of Dami, a Nigerian girl who moved to Dublin a few years ago to pursue her dream of becoming a fashion stylist. I wanted to portray her as an ambitious woman but also show that part of her that is melancholic and sad about a life that is gone. You can see that her clothes are modern, but she still wears the turban because it's a big part of who she is.
