La pollera: The Spanish legacy in Panama

La pollera is the typical Panamanian dress which is accompanied by expensive jewerlry mostly of gold. It´s used in festivities denoting nationalism and folklore. It represents part of the legacy when Spanish conquerors arrived at this land.
