Initiates First Bath

Once in their life, Hindus must make a pilgrimage to a holy site; for Indians, it’s the Ganges (Ganga) River. The sacred scriptures prescribe that a devotee bathes before entering the river, thus preparing their body and spirit for their spiritual bath in the arms of the goddess Ganga.
