I Have My Father's Temper

When I met Micheal, he was sitting on a bus stop bench in Barrio Logan, San Diego. I spoke to him, and he told me he had recently been in a fight, but that he was doing okay. "I have my father's temper," he said. He was attempting to marinade a store-bought fish in the sun, using some iced tea he had bought. He told me he didn't need to live on the street, that he was a millionaire. San Diego is teeming with mentally ill homeless humans who are in similar condition as Micheal...bruised, broken, functioning in survival mode.
