Hunger

Luis is walking across the dining area with a bowl of pasta. He had brought his lunch with him and asked a lady that sells food in the university campus to heat it up for him. Luis in indigenous and came to study anthropology to Puebla, a city of 2 million from a small village Cuetzalan in the highlands of Mexican state Puebla. The photograph is part of a series about Luis that demonstrates that indigenous people are not only the ones who dress traditionally, have 'rare' customs and are normally poor.
