Honoring Amy

Taken completely by chance, this image captures a group of construction workers delicately installing a statue of the late Amy Winehouse in her beloved Camden Town, London. The photo positions each worker as Amy's "worshippers," some doting on her while others bow at her feet. The statue itself is brought to life by touches of bright color in the roses placed on her wrist and head. This photo reflects the confident persona that earned her such devoted fans and a place in history.
