Harry Belafonte

Surrounded by balloons and riding in an open vehicle, legendary singer, actor, and activist Harry Belafonte, 86, and his wife Pamela Frank, participate in the Gay Pride parade in New York. Because of his long history of fighting for human rights and social justice around the globe-- including his advocacy for gay rights-- Mr. Belafonte was selected as Grand Marshal of this parade.
