Hand in Black and White

I originally took this photo of my hand to see if I could sketch it. I quickly fell in love with the image in spite of, or perhaps because of, the veins and the lines through my skin. I'm not ashamed of aging. I like that this tells a story and elicits the question of where this person has been or experienced.
