Greet the dog

I was watching the traditional Okinawan dances. They began the Shi-Shi dog dance this is to welcome good spirits and chance away those that would do harm. The Shi-Shi dog as a character is unpredictable. Sometime he is nice and playful. Yet other times he is dangerous and bites.
