Fernanda on my rooftop
I am currently working on a photography project in a mining camp located in southern Perú. The camp is currently running and is home to approximately two thousand families. Fernanda, the character in the picture, was a girl soon to leave the camp to study a career. I decided to take pictures of her and her mother, separately, to portray the beautiful sad place they live in which translates the bittersweet feeling of letting your children go while staying in a secluded little place far away from them.
