Father Florian

Father Florian leads an afternoon service at the Catholic church in Illeret, Kenya. Florian is a Bavarian prince and gave up his royal inheritance to become a Benedictine monk. For the last 10 years has been working in a remote area on the border of Kenya and Ethiopia with the Daasanach tribe. He believes in the motto “Ora et Labora” meaning “Work and Prayer” which is what he tries to impart on the local community through example.
