Father & Daughter

This double portrait shows the ambiguous relationship between a father and a daughter going through changes. I wanted to capture the awkwardness of the young girl to emphasize the changes. The father is behind her in the shadow. It depicts the distance and the misunderstanding between a pre-teen girl and a father. The father is seen as distant but also protective. I wanted to photograph this ambiguity by placing them in a closed space.
