Our Bandstand in Oberlin is designed like a Japanese cart. One sunny Autumn day, I snapped a photo of it in all its beauty.

Our town, Oberlin, Ohio, has Three Huge Rocks that can be painted to express anything the painter is feeling. This particular time, I believe that it was a rock-solid proposal!

I took a vacation in Morro Bay and had a boat ride in the afternoon, I was mesmerized by the amber colors that struck my eyes with boats moving to dock as the sun sets.

In the town of Hilo on the Big Island, this man was making baskets out of palm leaves.

Seagull cruising past the cruise ship in Glacier Bay, Alaska. The sunlight was hitting the gull at the right angle to make the wings glow!

Last winter was one of the worst in the history of my life. The man in this photo, my husband, agrees.

One morning at sunrise on the beach at Waimanalo, Oahu, I saw this weathered tree. I wondered how long it had been sitting there, in paradise. Frankly, I was jealous.
