Devotion

A boy's cheek being pierced with a spear as a sign of devotion at a Theemithi festival in Yangon during March 2017. Theemithi or "firewalking", is a Hindu religious practice where devotees walk across a fire pit in exchange for a wish or blessing granted by the goddess Draupadi.
