As a tourist, I gawk at exciting food, particularly trdelníks; I stare into store windows, jangling the Czech currency in my hefty travel purse; I admire the city centers, acquiesce to the tourist traps. But where am I? In Prague hubbub, where foreigners create castles for themselves, she asks the same.
Travelers can create new worlds for themselves--but over whose cement terrain are you hovering? Questions like these must be addressed--and if that's "work," then I'll never take a vacation.
