The White Brotherhood is a religious movement founded in Bulgaria in the early 20th century by Peter Deunov. The group proposes a Christian esoterism characterized by a number of practices-prayer, meditation, breathing exercises, yoga of nutrition and panevritmia. Love, wisdom, truth and justice are main virtues.A person can be both member of the group and of another religion. They gather every August to celebrate the beginning of the new year (august 19th) by dancing sacred dance-panevritmia.
