Chhat celebration

"Chhat" is a festival among Hindu practised in northern part of India. During dusk and dawn, the women folk gather on the bank of river Ganges wearing colorful sarees and with offerings to Sun God. "Chhat" puja(celebration) is meant for seeking good health for children by their mother to the almighty God.
