Bravery in our DNA.

On June 24, 2015, my daughter, Maeve, was diagnosed with leukemia. My mother, who has been battling ovarian cancer for 7 years was visiting her at Boston Children's Hospital. Sadly, during my mother's stay in Boston, I had to call an ambulance. We learned my mother's cancer is now in her brain. Preparing for this inevitable time, I am comforted knowing my mother's will and strength will be passed on to Maeve who is in remission.
