Karan, 11, is the member of an ancient tribe of snake charmers from Kanpur, who over the generations have captured poisonous snakes, making them dance to their music.
Snakes are revered in India and snake charmers are considered the followers of Lord Shiva, the Hindu god always portrayed with a cobra around his neck
