An exhausted infant sleeps while the pageantry of Thimpu's colorful Tsechu continues
During the loud & constant whirl of colourful costumes and energetic dancers that is a hallmark of Thimphu, Bhutan's celebratory Tsechu, I was struck by the simple, yet calming, image of an infant who seemed to be immune to all the blaring horns, clanging cymbals, and chanting monks and the noise that seemed to reverberate throughout the Dzongkha grounds.
